When Faith was born, she was approximately 13 weeks early and then as an infant she suffered seizures which set her development back dramatically. All the "experts" said she would not walk or talk. Faith is now 5 and a half, and not only is she walking and talking, she rides a bike, a scooter, she sings a bunch of songs, she can spell a number of words and can read some too! Every day I look at her, I am absolutely amazed at how far she has come and am thankful God has brought her this far! Yes, she is "developmentally delayed" but she is such an intelligent, happy, loving girl who I want to hug and kiss all the time!! :) I ADORE her! I am just so grateful for her. She is perfect just the way she is. I wouldn't trade her for the world!
